Loved this panel and companion fabrics. Picked one of my panel patterns. Backing is green minki and pantograph design for quilting was swirls and holly.

Eatonville Cooperative Nursery School Fundraiser 2025
For the third year I made a quilt for the nursery school fundraiser. The theme this year was “Gold” for their 50th anniversary. The pencil quilt sold for $700, the Laura Heinke Lady went for $175, Birds was over $150, and fall quilt was also $150. The dessert dash raised $3000. The layered Carrot Cake was made by cousin, Sarah.
Christmas 2025
Made a few quilts for Christmas. New black and white microwave bowl cozies. New scalloped placemats and a cute elves wallhanging. Also making or trying to make 40 mini baskets.
Also made some plate and bowl cozies for the microwave.

HOMESTEAD
In the Better Homes and Garden American Patchwork & Quilting magazine number 194 I saw this quilt. I loved the design and the colors that were used. In August 2025 I went on a Traveling Quilters trip to Chicago and Illinois. We visited four quilt shops. I had the list of fabrics needed for this quilt and bought all the fabric needed, even the backing. The design is called Homestead and was designed by Anna Dineen.
Quilt was finished on October 26, 2025. I decided to do a Prairie Point binding. I hate the corners on a traditional Prairie Point border so I added a point to each corner.

Eatonville High School Fundraiser
My niece, Ruby Skelton, asked me to make a quilt for a fundraiser her high school was having October 11, 2025. She wanted Mt. Rainer and Eatonville Cruisers 2026. I found a panel with Mt. Rainer and a pattern I liked. The school colors are royal blue and white so I made the stars in those colors and the lettering. I thought the white squares inside the stars was perfect for appliqués of different sports and one of their mascot. The auction for the quilt was held October 11, 2025. The auction raised over $40,000. The photo below is Ruby with the quilt. While the auction was going on Ruby walked around showing off quilt. THANK YOU RUBY!!!

Kimono
These are the companion fabrics I got for Moon Over Waterfall but didn’t go. I found the panel that went with those fabrics and used the Kimono pattern I bought in Hawaii. I used Dancing Violets pantograph for quilting with a bright magenta thread. I joked about hanging quilts all over the house except for the garage. Well this is first quilt in the garage.
Moon Over Waterfall
During my Hawaii cruise in March I visited four quilt stores. I bought the center panel of this quilt there. I also bought some companion fabrics but when I got home they did not go with panel. After searching online I found the companion fabrics that went with the panel. I also found a great pantograph to use to quilt.

CHATHEDRAL
My quilt guild, Paso Del Norte, had a workshop teaching Cathdral pattern. I missed class but got the instructions and made a couple of Baby quilts to donate to the church where we have our quilt guild meetings.
STITCH
Made a small quilt for Amari. Nine year old daughter of friend. Her birthday is July 27. Bought her a couple of Stitch gifts too. Designed the center and added some borders. Backing was Stitch printed fleece.
Her Daddy told me she loved it and hugged it to herself. No better thank you.Monday, June 23, 2025
BACK TO SCHOOL
Quilt for Eatonville Coop Nursery School. I finished piecing and quilting and will put students names on when they give them to me. Last year I was rushed to finish so I wanted it done early. White minky backing and cute number/alphabet pantograph stitch pattern for quilting.

MOON OVER WATERFALL
This was the panel I purchased in Hawaii. I found a finished quilt and instructions online. Since the post was from 2017 the instructions were unavailable. I did like the way it was put together so I copied the photo of the finished quilt. I also was lucky to find many of the fabrics from the fabric line. Amazing they were still available after eight years.
GEISHA KIMONO
While in Hawaii this year I bought the pattern for this quilt. I bought a panel and some companion fabrics. After getting home and looking at fabrics together I could see they didn’t go together well. So I went online and found the fabric line the companion fabrics were from and they still made a panel. So I purchased the panel. Here is quilt pieced and then quilted.

Flower Power
Another Ruth Robin design using Anna Maria fabrics.
April 2025 finished quilting. Decided rounded corners would look good. Used ruler work and free motion. A stipple pattern in background.

Over and Down Under
I bought this pattern a few years ago and finally decided to try it. I got a jelly roll with pretty pastels. The pattern called for a jelly roll with 40 different fabrics. My jelly roll had 40 strips but only 20 different fabrics so they repeated themselves. I tried to follow pattern for pkacement but could have just laid them out randomly. There is a cute elephant print minki as backing. I quilted with Dancing Violets pantograph and white thread. Love this pantograph design so I may use it for the next couple of quilts.

Zen Yoga Mat
I recently saw this quilt in magazine and thought I would make for my husband Gary. He does yoga twice a week. I used fabric from my stash. I bought a yard of the blue and brown marbley one and it had the blue of his gym bag and yoga equipment. Did the quilting on my Babylock Chorus. I broke three needles but got it done. Quilting I would loosen the pressure foot and then it would get under the needle.
